there are a lot of interesting places in my hometown Kuching.. one of them is the Taman Sahabat (Friendship Garden).. the garden is situated at Jalan Song and it is built to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and China..
i went there with my friend Julan during the recent Chinese New Year holidays..
the arch at the main entrance..
the Chinese characters on the signboard means “Malaysia-China Friendship Garden”..
the Chinese guarding lion.. symbol of protection..
it is not just a common park for jogging..
but also full with unique architectural buidings..
an acient Chinese style buiding..
the building and its shadow in the pond..
relax your mind here.. 🙂
the zigzag bridge across the pond..
emm.. searching for the wishing well..
ya, here it is.. the wishing well is surrounded by lots of people.. come, make a wish.. i want a girlfriend.. i want to marry on 12/12/12.. 🙂
the carved murals..
welcome to Sarawak.. 🙂
the giant stature of Admiral Zheng He which stands on the ship-like platform over the pond..
Zheng He was born in a Muslim family around 1371 in China’s Yunan Province. He was a great Chinese explorer who had led 7 expeditions from China to many different places throughout the world and visited 30 countries from 1405 to 1433..
“give me five..” :p

emm.. if i marry a Kelantanese girl later, hopefully the Kelate peoples will build a stature for me too, since I have travelled across the “South China Sea” for more than 7 times and greatly contributed to improve their healthcare status.. huhu.. and i want my stature to be looked like this.. :p
