Tioman The Fantasy Island

i went to Pulau Tioman 2 weeks ago with my friend..  :)

from Johor Bahru we drove to Mersing, and from there we took the ferry to SalangPulau Tioman..

because of this trip, i bought a waterproof camera just one day before the trip..

and because of this trip, i put back my contact lens after 8 years without them..  :p

we stayed 1 night in the chalet at Salang Sayang Resort..  :)

simple but comfortable..  :)

a small island just opposite the place we stayed..

simple life..  totally forgotten about the busy life in the hospital..  :p

any idea what fruit is this..??

great experience..

    people stepped and hit the coral and it died… can see in the photo. so sad.

      hi Amanda.. 🙂 most of the corals nearby the coral island are dead, probably due to natural process or global warming.. may be there are still a lot of life corals in the deep sea.. the corals in the photo, including the dead one, are located about 8-12 meters from the water surface, so it is unlikely for anyone to step on them during snorkeling.. 🙂

    HI, awesome pics! Am planning a trip there next month. Just wanna know, your waterproof camera, it can be used directly in the waters? Or you need to get a special “waterproof” casing for it?

      hi Celyn.. 🙂
      ya, the camera can be used directly in the water without any casing, but not more than 10 meter from the surface of the water.. if you wish to go deeper than you need a casing.. 🙂
