there are many beautiful and famous beaches in Kelantan..

one of them is this calming and relaxing beach at Tok Bali..

Tok Bali is located about 16 km from Pasir Puteh, Kelantan..  nearby the coastal road which connecting the Kota Bharu and Kuala Terengganu..

it is a fishing village..  but now it has became an attractive place for beach holiday..  🙂

i love the fresh air here..

a nice place for camping and fishing..

the trees..  and..

the Borneo boy..

i really love the green atmosphere..

Salem High Country..??  nope, it’s Tok Bali Kelate..  🙂

the breezing beach..

nice place for beach swimming..

the beauty of the nature..  showing the greatness of the Creator..

next, we move on to another beach..

Pantai Bisikan Bayu (translated as the beach of whispering breeze)..  :p

shhhh..  jangan cakap kuat-kuat..  bisik-bisik saja k..  :p

it’s located about 50 km away from Kota Bharu..

the coconut trees..

a great place for picnic..

one of the common beach activities – the fishing competition..  🙂

the fishes from the competition..

ikan tordak (swordfish)..

there are many food stalls along the beach..

the jagung panggang (barbecue corn), otak-otak, and satar ikan..

the otak-otak..  the barbecued fish slice with grinded coconut and spices wrapped in a banana leaf..

the satar ikan..  a local snack..

made of concoction of fish meat with shallot and ginger paste, basked in coconut milk and wrapped in banana leaf, then barbequed inside the bamboo stick with low charcoal fire..

the fresh fruits..

the rojak buah (mixture of different types of fruits with special made prawn paste) and the coconut water..  refreshing..  🙂

Kelantan, the tropical paradise in east coast of Malaysia..  🙂

Oooo…beautiful! I love otak otak and I sure would like to try satar ikan one day – never had that before…and never been to Kelantan before either. Hope to make it there someday.
