Cappadocia The wonder Land

3 May
i didn’t know anything about Cappadocia before this..  when i was in Turkey last month, my friend talked about hot balloon ride in Cappadocia only then i knew about this place..  so i hav made a last minute decision to go to Cappadocia mainly to experience this hot balloon ride..
the arrangement of the trip was done with a local travel agency just 3 hours prior to my flight from AntalyaIstanbulKayseri..  it was in the middle of the night when i arrived at Kayseri airport..  the travel agency arranged a driver to pick me up at the airport and sent me to the hotel at Cappadocia..
the accommodation was pre-arranged by the travel agency as well..  i reached the hotel in the early morning around 1.30 am..  ha..  this was the hotel where i stayed..  very unique..  the Saksagan Cave Hotel..
yup, it’s a “cave” hotel..  the hotel was built inside the cave..!!  and this is one of  the attractions in Cappadocia..
although small, the facilities are very good with friendly staffs..
my hotel room..
the comfortable bed..
very well-equipped..
ha..  suddenly i found something familiar..
looks similar to the one in my Kubang Kerian kampong house..  ha, China products all over the world..  :p
the garden inside the hotel compound..
nice architecture..
simple but unique..
and very clean..
breakfast provided as well..  different types of bread, different types of cheese, and different types of jam..  bread is the staple food in European countries..  :)
i like the “white” colour egg..  :)
ha, now let’s talk about the key event – the hot balloon ride..  the hot balloon ride started at around 6.30 am..  :)
there were about 15 peoples on the balloon, including 1 pilot and 1 tour guide..
up, up and away..  :)
the balloons travelled freely with the wind..
the height of the inflated balloon is about 30 metres tall..
the Cappadocia valley..
Ballooning in this area is rated as one of the top 3 rides in the world..  :)
enjoying the subtle motion of the hot balloon in the air..  :)
the balloons descended and floated through the valleys, between fairy chimneys and caves..
tengah melayang ni..  :p
incredible panoramic views of the Cappadocia from the air..
the old church, built inside the caves..
the cave houses..
beautiful scenes..
the unique rock formation..
the nature beauty of Cappadocia..
free floating..
stunning volcanic landscape at Cappadocia..
ha..  we were reaching 1000 metres from the sea level..  looks like Google map..? :p
flying through the clouds..
it was a one hour exciting ride..  after landed, the crews were packing up the balloon..
haha..  posing like the angkasawan..  :p
the crews organised a champagne toast to celebrate our successful ride..
cheers..!!!
with the tour guide..  ^_^
and a beautiful flight certificate was awarded..  finally, i would like to assure you that the hot balloon ride is fun and safe..  :)
