Jalan-Jalan Antalya

21 Jun

sorry guys for my late blog entry..

it has been a busy and tough month for me..

on 21st May my kampong house was kena broken into..  my 1-month old Sony Vaio laptop and external hard disc were all kena sapu..  :'(

i lost my confidence to stay inside the kampong and decided to move to my friend’s house at the Kubang Kerian new township 2 weeks ago..

and now i’m working with my new Samsung laptop..  :p

ok..  let’s forget about the sad story..

in this blog entry, i would like to share with you the beautiful moments in Antalya, the city where my course was held in Turkey..

the National Ascension Monument Antalya,  at Cumhuriyet Meydani, in the Antalya Kaleici Old City..

the monument honors Kemal Ataturk, the founder and the 1st president of Turkey..

the Clock Tower and the Tekeli Mehmet Pasa Cammi (cammi = mosque)..

the Kalekapsi, which means the castle gate..

the statues and the bicycle..  someone has parked the bicycle in between these 2 statues, hoping that the 2 “kids” can look after his bicycle..  :p

the statue of Attalus, the founder of Antalya..

the beautiful Roman Harbour  at Antalya Kaleici Old City..

on the way to the harbour..  passing through the Ottoman houses..

the cruise ships at the harbour..

well-decorated cruise ship..

listen to the wave sounds..

the great sunshine with the freezing wind..

the Antalya Archeology Museum..  located at Konyaalti, Antalya..

it contains over 15,000 art works and artifacts spread over 13 exhibition halls..

the Three Graces..  representing beauty, charm and joy..
